International Scleroderma Network

ISN is a full-service nonprofit international patient and medical organization. We deliver top notch research, support, education and awareness for scleroderma and related illnesses.

What is Scleroderma?

Scleroderma is a chronic autoimmune disease. There are two main types; Localized, which include Linear and Morphea; and Systemic, also known as Diffuse, CREST, Limited, Systemic Sclerosis and Overlap. I have the CREST variation. After being diagnosed with this incurable chronic illness I did research on the internet and found all the information and support I needed at the ISN Scleroderma From A to Z Website. I submitted my story, found many supportive scleroderma sisters and brothers and decided to volunteer. I enjoyed this volunteering experience so much that I became the Chair of the Archive Committee for the International Scleroderma Network and the Voices of Scleroderma Book series is a result of my union with ISN. All proceeds from the Voices of Scleroderma Books go to the non-profit ISN organization.

BOOK SYNOPSIS

Voices Of Scleroderma Volume 1- A collection of personal patient and caregiver scleroderma stories from around the world, with medical introductions by renown scleroderma leaders from the medical and research communities Such as: Dr. Joseph Korn, Gary Barg, Dr. Magdalena Dziadzio, Dr. Asim Iqbal and Dr. Thomas Lehman.

Voices of Scleroderma Volume 2- A continuation of Volume 1; with new patient/caregiver stories, as well as new information from more specialists in the scleroderma medical and research field from around the world.. Such as: Professor Carol Black, Dr. Mario Auriemma, Dr. Magdalena Dziadzio, Kevin Howell, Dr. Vanessa Malcarne and Dr. Maria Trojanowska

Voices of Scleroderma Volume 3- A continuation of Volume 1 & Vol 2; with new patient/caregiver stories, as well as new information from more specialists in the scleroderma medical and research field from around the world..Contributing professionals include Dr. Marco Matucci-Cerinic and Dr. Irene Miniati (on Systemic Scleroderma), Dr. Fernanda Falcini (on Juvenile Scleroderma), Dr. Tafazzul e-Haque Mahmud, Dr. Laszlo Czirjak (on Scleroderma-Like Disorders), Dr. James Seibold, Francisco Castellanos, and Carol Langenfeld.
